Our Story

Hi. My name is Tim Thayne. Almost a decade ago, I co-founded a wilderness program in hopes of helping teens turn their lives around. Our vision was to help young boys and girls tune out all the distractions of life and find themselves again…in the middle of nowhere.

I loved being a therapist for these good youth and seeing the light come back into their eyes. Some went home and some went on to boarding schools. As I kept in touch with them, I continued to be saddened when I would learn of their struggles and failures. I saw some of the best kids, that I had worked with, fall back into old patterns and lose sight of everything they had discovered within themselves.

Finally, I decided it was time to stop being concerned and start doing something about it. So I left the wilderness program I had helped to build, and turned my attention solely to aftercare support for the entire family.

Over the years, my team of creative and adventurous coaches has traveled the journey with hundreds of families across the nation as they've brought their sons and daughters home from various treatment programs. In the beginning, it was our dedication, optimism, and genuine love for the families that helped us provide the caring and timely support they needed to make it through the challenges.

Today, it's our passion and our experience that give parents the peace of mind that comes from knowing what lies ahead and how to face it.
